The FutureWEDGE™ 3100 electric vehicle barrier is available in a single or dual buttress design, with    a bolt-down or shallow foundation installation, depending on the crash rating requirement. The 3100 has a plate height of 31 inches in the fully armed position and spans K4 (15,000 lbs @ 30 mph) to K8 (15,000 lbs @ 40 mph) DOS specifications. Typical foundation depth for an anchor frame installation is from 6 – 9 inches. Single entrances up to 16 feet in width can be secured with the 3100 series. This model is standard with LED stop/go lights and can be supplied with a fully integrated gate arm assembly and features simple “plug and activate” installation. It is quite common for the 3100 series to be used in conjunction with more sophisticated security integration using new convergence technology. Our Electric Power Control Units (EPU) can be configured to accommodate any specific needs a customer may have.

The industrial-grade, intelligent oscillator converts any incoming electricity to three phase power, resulting in lower overall energy consumption and allows the use of any incoming power source. The FutureWEDGE™ linear mode of actuation maintains the pursuit of overall efficiency by moving the barrier in the simplest and most direct manner. Added spring assist further reduces the electrical power required to operate the barrier and increases duty cycles.

The FutureWEDGE™ all electric green solution utilizes an electro mechanical actuator that eliminates the need for a hydraulic power unit or air compressor. This means that the associated hoses, filters, and valves, which are common causes of barrier failure, are gone!
